The upper section having three bays of fixed sycamore shelves, the lower with straw marquetry top over three conforming cabinet doors, raised on a plain plinth base.

Their work features highly decorative surfaces including straw marquetry, gypse (selenite), parchment (vellum), mica, pyrite, shagreen (galuchat), as well as precious wood veneers and fine metalwork.
