Condition Report

The painting is a work on paper, framed under glazing – not examined external to the frame. The sheet has mould to the surface throughout – especially to the left-hand side. There is some cockling to the upper left hand corner- otherwise no obvious tears or creasing etc. The colours and ink appear well preserved. The mount has significant mould and foxing due to being stored in a damp environment, the glass is dirty internally and externally. The painting is housed in the original metal frame- there is some plastic film like material encrusted around the frame.
