Condition Report
The painting is an oil on canvas, framed under glazing- not examined external to the frame. The canvas appears in good condition without any obvious signs of holes, tears etc and the tension is good. The painting does not appear to be relined but possibly has been cleaned. The paint surface appears stable and well preserved, there is a small scuff to the lower left-centre edge resulting in some paint loss. The frame has solid joints but does have surface losses throughout and is missing much of the detail to the bottom-centre embellishments.
The painting has come from a private estate in the Isle of Man
