A late 18th century / early 19th century Chinese cinnabar lacquer hexagonal bowl, decorated in relief with figures in landscapes, with liner, 30cm wide x 15cm high (2)

Condition Report

Splits to three of the corners at the rim. Large chip (3.5cm) to the inside rim edge down to the wood. Evidence of retouching to an area of the inside rim. Wear inside including surface flaking. Chipping to the outer rim especially to the corners. Main body largely good with only a few tiny surface nibbles. Split to one corner extends down into body. Chipping to all four feet.
