constructed of a doeskin mottled green woollen body with brown leather trimmings, the brown patent top and peak indicating service with the rural police service, with a replaced NCO pom-pom, metal chinscales and a vaulted metal eagle plate, with two mesh sliding ventilation holes to either side, interior with worn leather sweatband and lacking liner
