A small group of Burmantofts faience art pottery, late 19th century

A small group of Burmantofts faience, late 19th century, comprising a small relief-moulded planter, red glaze, decorated with foliage, impressed marks including number 1782, rim diameter 11cm; a turquoise glaze candlestick, shape 2219, 23cm high; a mallet-shaped vase, pale green glaze, shape 1539, 22cm high; and a further green vase with incised flowers, 19cm high; and a further candlestick, of column form, red glaze (converted for use as a lamp), height excluding fitting 29cm (5)

Condition Report

Turquoise Candlestick - restored around the base.
Tall Pale green vase - hairline to mouth, crazing to the glaze, some discolouration and a small glaze fault
Smaller vase - Large chip and one further smaller nibble to mouth
Red jardiniere - No damages or repairs but some scratches to exterior

Red candlestick - drilled hole for power cable, fitted with lightbulb holder
