A George III oak or fruitwood drop leaf wake table, possibly Irish, the plain top with single drop leaf to the back, above four frieze drawers to the front having later brass knops, raised on tapering square section supports, 183cm wide x 44/88cm deep x 71.5cm high.

Condition Report
Top has fair colour and figuring but with multiple stains and marks throughout, cosmetic surface scratches throughout and a fairly fine split to one end. Drop leaf has darker reddish colour and figuring with fewer stains and marks and some deeper scratches with several dints which appear to have been treated. Left front leg split at top. Three drawer runners replaced with softwood. Drawers fair and run in and out freely. Frieze and supports show cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. No evidence of worm.
