Misha Chahbazian was an Iranian artist from Isfahan, who is known for his brightly coloured watercolours depicting urban and rural landscapes of Iran against historical and holy landmarks. He was part of a group of painters known as the Watercolour School of Isfahan or the New Jolfa Painters.

Condition Report

The paint condition is very good and the colours well preserved, no obvious signs of paint loss or deterioration. The paper appears to be in very good condition without evidence for rips, tears or folding. The frame is in good condition with solid joints and only minor signs of general wear and tear.
