A large Japanese Arita blue and white dragon vase

A large Japanese Arita blue and white vase, late Meiji/Taisho period
Of baluster form with flared and lobed rim, the body applied in relief with a wrythen dragon, painted with profuse waterside flowers and foliage including peonies, chrysanthemum, prunus and lotus, 55cm high.

Sold for £120


Condition Report
Some fritting to the rim edge.  Fine firing fractures to and around the applied dragon.
