A 19th century converted mahogany spinet writing table

A 19th century converted mahogany spinet writing table, the square piano carcass by Broadwood & Sons, London, the rosewood cross-banded and ebony strung top having two drawers flanking the writing surface, above a brass-inlaid frieze, raised on tapering reeded supports capped with brass castors, 167cm wide x 64cm deep x 79cm high, writing surface 62cm high.

Condition Report
Structurally stable. Tops above drawers both split. Small losses and restorations to cross banding. Writing surface fair but with marks and scratches. Front and sides fair but with cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Legs fair with cosmetic marks. Not all level and so need adjusting.
