The Austrian firm of Souval quickly caught on to the fact that American servicemen would pay for Third Reich medals. So by the 1950s, Souval were manufacturing a large range of medals that they had previously made before 1945 - although in this case Souval did not originally hold a contract for manufacturing NSDAP Golden Party badges.
