After Francois Girardon (1628-1715), a patinated bronze group of Pluto abducting Prosperine
Dark brown patination, Pluto modelled striding over a prone maiden, he carries the struggling Prosperine aloft, set on a square 'rocky' base.

Although catalogued as 'The Rape of the Sabine Women' in its Walker Barnet & Hill entry in 1996, this group is, in fact, the accompanying piece depicting Pluto abducting Prosperine.
