An unusual Burmantofts faience vase or basket, late 19th century, of single-handled form,. yellow or ochre glazed, modelled as a Sundial shell surrounded by sealife including lobster and fish, impressed 'BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE', 21cm high overall

Condition Report

Typical crazing to the glaze throughout and a couple of firing crack. Slight glaze wear/nibbling to the ends of the seaweed handle. No cracks or chips.
