Jackfield coffee pot and mug

A Jackfield-type baluster coffee pot and cover, 18th century, of low-bellied form raised on three feet, with white metal mounts, 28cm high; together with a Jackfield-type earthenware baluster mug, 12cm high (2)

Condition Report

The coffee pot with external cracks to the upper portion of the body. The mounts were probably added to hide or replace damage - e..g to replace a broken finial and also secure the cracks to the upper portion. One foot remains chipped and there is one further chip and some nibbles to the underside rim of the cover.
