A Second World War North African Campaign German trench art ashtray formed from a Geb 15 shell, dated 1937, using two Egyptian coins as the cigarette mounts, 8cm diameter; together with two German ammunition rounds stamped dated 1938 and marked 'P198' (Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbritzen G.m.b.H., Werk Röderhof, Germany), with dummy wooden heads.
