late 19th century
sometimes called ‘Sleeping Louise’, modelled after an original by Michel Victor Acier after a painting by Jean-Baptiste Greuze, relaxed in a large chair with one arm on a tall wooden table, her shoes discarded and a love letter tucked into the top of her bodice, blue crossed swords mark, incised E58,

Condition Report
Generally good, no signs of restoration. There a small section of loss to her lace bodice, a couple of firing cracks to her skirts and a tiny knock to the front right hand corner of the base. Please see additional images.
