A French black marble mantel clock, circa 1900, the architectural case with malachite inserts and gilt line detail, the enamelled dial with recessed brocot type exposed escapement, the eight day movement striking on a bell, 35cm high.

Condition Report

The case has a repair to the top of the arch, some small and very small chips in places especially to the corner edges in (not disfiguring), there are multiple minor scratches and abrasions throughout and some where to the building. The dial is in good order with a few fine hairlines at the winding holes. The movement winds, runs and chimes. The rear door is a later replacement. Please refer to images.
