A large Victorian credenza, veneered principally in burr walnut with strung and cross-banded borders, the rectangular top above a broken frieze populated with three inset hand-painted continental porcelain panels, with gilt borders on a powder blue grounds decorated with putti and portrait busts, set with gilt metal mounts, the frieze interspersed with turned ebonised columns with gilded fluted detail and ormolu Corinthian capitols, enclosing a large central panelled door with a beaded ormolu border centred with a large inset hand-painted porcelain portrait plaque, flanked by shelved cupboards with glazed panelled doors, raised on tapering feet, 115 cm high, 184 cm wide, 44.5 cm deep.
