A 17th century, oak, 6-plank coffer with a stopped null carved front and 'V' cut ends, damaged, 114cm wide x 38cm deep x 55cm high

Condition Report

Top badly cracked including one right across (hence bearers on the underside) and chipped, including loss of 13cm section where the hasp would have been. Other losses incuding around where original lockplate sited and base bead on lower edge of front. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use
