A Japanese parquetry table cabinet, tansu, Meiji/Taisho period, of rectangular form raised on a narrow plinth base, with a pair of doors inset with asymmetrical parquetry panels over one base drawer inlaid with conforming parquetry, the doors opening to reveal a bank of six drawers, 40cm high, 45cm wide, 27cm deep.
