designed by Oskar Pflug, modelled lying down, with the mouth open, printed factory mark in green, with an old paper label signed by the modeller 'O.Pflug', 23cm long and 12.5cm high
OSKAR PFLUG - German sculptor (1858 -1937). Noted for creating many animal models, with seemingly a particular fondness for canine subjects. Pflug lived in Berlin and worked for the Heubach factory from 1911-13. His work is also found in bronze, spelter and zinc.
