A fine French onyx and champleve enamel longcase clock

A fine French onyx and champleve enamel longcase clock, late 19th century, of typical form, the rectangular top with champlevé-decorated drop-finials, over a square clockcase with ormolu corner beading, and a pair of champlevé-mounted columns flanking a sunburst pendulum, on a rectangular plinth base, the enamel dial with Arabic numerals to an enamelled chapter ring around a champleve star motif, the eight-day movement striking on a coil gong, 37cm wide x 31cm deep x 127cm high.
