A late 19th century Syrian, rectangular walnut marquetry centre table

A late 19th century Syrian, rectangular walnut marquetry centre table, Damascus, the top with canted corners and inlaid with mother-of-pearl and abalone panels of cursive script and parquetry surrounding a central octagonal mother-of-pearl panel, all enclosed by 4 borders, the outer border of mother-of-pearl dog tooth design on a chamfered edge, above a conforming frieze in the form of continuous shaped arches with turned pendants, raised on columnar legs, united by an ‘H’ stretcher, inlaid all-over with mother-of-pearl lozenges and marquetry panels.
117cm wide x 67cm deep x 77cm high (some restoration and losses)

Some restoration and infil including inlays. Lacking some elements, including isolated section of inlay and two pendants. Please refer to images.
