A Japanese tanto, Meiji/Taisho period, the tsuka bound over fish skin with gilt and silvered bronze crane bird menuki, the fuchi and tsuba cast with trailing flowers, with kogai kozuka cast with crane in flight, the saya dark brown with a fine crackle finish, single edge steel blade, 39cm long.
