An assembled Royal Crown Derby imari service, pattern 2451
predominantly circa 1910 - 1930s
comprising a teapot and cover, cream jug and twin-handled sucrier, with a cabaret tray, 32.5cm wide; eight coffee cups (three different sizes), with nine saucers, eight sideplates, two further smaller sideplates, five small plates, 18cm diameter and a fluted slop basin, 13cm diameter; together with a small jar and cover, raised on four feet, in the same pattern, 18cm high

Condition Report

Tray drilled for hanging. One coffee cup with a chip and three hairlines. A second coffee cup with slight hairline visible to the underside of the base. Some loss of gilding to several saucers and coffee cup rims and handles. Four of the 18cm plates with particularly heavy rubbing to the decoration, one of which also has a hairline.

The small jar and cover on four feet has lost all of the red colour, which is now a dark greyish brown. It also has a restored finial to the cover and a short hairline to the interior rim.
No further damages or repairs.
