A Minton parian figure group of Prince Alfred
dated 1861
modelled after the original by Baron Carlo Marochetti with the young Prince in highland garb stood beside his pony, on a titled base, impressed 'Published by Minton & Co', impressed date code and further impressed factory marks to base, 41cm high (restored)

Condition Report

Alfred's head has been re-attached. There is some yellow discolouration to one side horse's mane, face and neck and a few small glaze faults also to the mane.

Hairline around one of the horse's hoofs. There is also a firing crack around the mould line of one of Alfred's shoulder. A few small dark brown scuff marks to the base. No further damages or repairs.
