A collection of militaria and other items, circa 1950

A group of WW2 period and other items including two field service sleeping bags, circa 1950 the first canvas bag named to Captain P.M Longmore (MC) and the second named to Captain G.W. Fassnidge, further marked K. Restwell; together with other items including an exide battery; Normond fuel tank gauge; an amperes meter; a telephone with headset dated 2/8/41 (Serial PC14); small signalling lamp and an assorted collection of turned wooden practice weight dumbells (qty)

P.M Longmore was promoted to the rank of Captain in the Royal Regiment of Artillery in January 1949 and was previously awarded the Military Cross. He was the son of Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Longmore.
