constructed of gilt metal formed as an eight pointed star with laurel wreath and Garter surmounted by Imperial Crown which displaces the top point of the star, with motto 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' (incomplete) together with seventeen gold and enamel Captin's pips and six bronze pips with motto 'Tria Juncta in Uno'
