A large English dinner service, probably Mason's Ironstone

A large dinner service in the Fence, Vase and Doves pattern, all pieces unmarked but probably Mason's
circa 1835-40
transfer-printed and hand coloured in green, orange and gold, the service comprises three oval serving platters, 49cm wide, 44cm wide and 40cm wide; five oval serving dishes, 33cm wide, two at 27cm wide and two 24cm wide; a pierced meat drainer, 35cm wide; two vegetable serving tureens with covers (one handle re-glued); a sauce tureen with two stands; twenty-eight dinner plates, 26.5cm diameter (one with stapled repair); nine soup plates, 26.5cm diameter; nine sideplates, 20cm diameter, nine medium plates, 23cm diameter; and a pedestal twin-handled bowl (72 pcs including covers)

Condition Report

Some pieces with cracks. One vegetable tureen cover with repaired knop. One dinner plate with stapled repair. Some items stained and/or crazed.
