VERDUN PLAQUE. A circular pewter plaque featuring Joan of Arc, based on the Verdun medal. Cast from the original on HMS Verdun by Chief Petty Officer Archibald Patterson, probably from the gun tampions. Patterson cast only two copies, one for himself one for the captain. In a circular mahogany frame. Plaque 166mm, frame 215mm. With a 'Crossing the Line' certificate given to A W Patterson in 1925 when onboard HMS Repulse, framed and glazed (2)
