A Greco-Roman pottery oil lamp, circa 1st Century BC - 1st Century AD, late Hellenistic to early Roman period, the silt clay of dark grey hue modelled in the form of a bull's head with plain loop handle, 10cm across. Footnote: A near identical bull's head lamp can be found in the collection of Cleveland Museum of Art, Ohio.
