Lot 164 (Summer Fine Art Auction, 17th July 2019)
A Chinese cloisonne figure of a cockerel
Late Qing/Republic period
Modelled standing, its head facing left, worked with brightly coloured feathers and red coxcomb.
A private Cheshire collection, the property of a gentleman.
Sold for £400
Feet slightly bent at the back meaning the figure is not entirely stable standing up. Otherwise appears to be in good condition.
