A cast iron Gothic revival fireplace of Shrewsbury interest
The central grate with knopped bars above a diaper panel with quatrefoil piercing, flanked by twin decorated gothic towers (for refurbishment).

Reputedly, this design of fireplace was inspired by the Gothic architecture of Shrewsbury, in particular St Mary's Church in St Mary's Place, Dogpole.

Condition Report

Extensive surface rust and soot deposits throughout. Grate floor missing. Some elements with areas of degradation.
