Provenance: Purchased by the vendor's grandfather in 1918 from H.R. Thompson Fine Art, Tunstall, original receipt dated 24 December 1918

Condition Report
The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. The canvas has good tension and does not have obvious holes, tears or losses. The paint surface appears well preserved and stable, there is some surface level craquelure present but no obvious paint loss or deterioration. There is some surface level dirt/accretions. Frame has sound joints, general wear and tear
