painted with Bacchus and Ariadne on the Island of Naxos after Antoine Coypel (French, 1661-1722), within a raised gilt border of stylised urns and flowers with greek-key outer border, titled to verso 'L'Hymen de Bachus et d'Ariadne', painted beehive mark in underglaze blue, impressed '800',

Condition Report
Stapled crack at 10 o clock with small associated chip. Otherwise, condition is good. Both the gilding and the central decoration remain in good order with no discernible rubbing or scratches. Despite the stapled repair, it still displays nicely from the front.
