A large and impressive French bronze figural and black marble clock garniture
Late 19th century, the clock case surmounted by a bronze figure after Pierre Alexandre Schoenwerk of the muse Euterpe, the black enamel 4 1/8 in. dial with gilt Roman hour markers and exposed escapement, the Lamaire eight day movement striking on a bell, flanked by bronze figures of neoclassical water carriers on conforming plinth bases.
