A large Carl Thieme (Potschappel) porcelain bowl and cover, late 19th century, the cover's finial modelled as a young boy and girl beside bunches of grapes, with ozier basket-weave moulded borders, the cover and bowl painted with large cartouche panels of tavern scenes and figures merrymaking interspersed by large sprays of 'Deutsche Blumen' flowers, underglaze blue 'T / X' factory mark, bowl 29.5cm diameter and 33cm high
