German National Hunting Association dagger

A good German Third Reich National Hunting Association cutlass
the 36cm long single-edged, spear-point blade decorated to both sides with a hunting forestry scene with a boar near the forte, a panel of a hunter shooting a leaping stag and a further stag with foliate detail toward the tip, the obverse of the blade with a further scene of stags and running deer, with a typical white metal-mounted recurved hoof form crossguard and clamshell guard, riveted two-piece horn grip with swastika emblem and a pillbox pommel mounted with acorn finial, housed within original white metal mounted and black leather scabbard with further acorn frog stud, the overall length of dagger 48.5cm, sold together with an unassociated green and white German portepee

Condition Report
There are two relatively indistinct stampings to the underside of the clamshell - one of which looks to be '254', but unfortunately no signs of any further markings. Please see the final two additional images for close-ups of the markings described.
