Condition Report
The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. There is craquelure throughout including numerous areas of paint loss including to the sitter's shirt and turban- please refer to the additional photographs. There is a small hole in the canvas bottom right. The tension of the canvas is good. The paint surface appears unstable. There are two flecks of white that appear to be later surface accretions. The frame has solid joints and general wear and tear.
