Condition Report
Painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. The canvas has been relined and some repairs conducted in 1976 including above the left shoulder. The paint has craquelure throughout, the paint condition appears stable, no obvious signs of paint loss or deterioration. There is a scratch on the sitters left sleeve with some paint loss as photographed.
The painting was relined, restored and later stretcher and frame 24/12/1976 as detailed on label verso.
