A Chinese brass censer and cover, Qing Dynasty, 19th century

A Chinese brass censer and cover, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, of hexagonal baluster shape with wide fretwork-pierced rim and bracket handles, the domed cover modelled as a finger citron on a leafy stem, the body cast in relief with shaped panels containing birds in branches and aquatic life amid marine foliage, inscribed with a dedication in three lines, 23cm high.

Condition Report

Handles a little loose. Some minor signs of age throughout including light surface wear and very small dings and dints in places.
