A Japanese lacquer bound photograph album of sixty hand coloured plates, Meiji period (1868-1912), unsigned but in the style of Tamamura Kozaboro, the sixty plates showing scenes of old Japan, some entitled incuding Takaboku Nagasaki Nunobiki waterfall at Kobe, the temples at Nara and town scenes of Kioto (Sic), Lake Biwa from Miidera, Karasaki Matsu, Nagoya castle, Tokaido Bridge, the road at Miyanoshita, main street Yokohama and traditional scenes to include rice planting, street artisans, musicans, ceremonial views, China merchants, timber merchants and various temple views, all with hand coloured margins showing various figures in traditional costume, the plates with tissue dividers, the lacquer cover with gilt tooled leathr spine in western style and a black and white photograph of the Imachi road, Nikko borders, the back of the album with a gilt lacquer branch, some cracking to lacquer and foxing to pages, 32cm x 40cm
